    Germany Summer 2008

Back in Germany we have the windiest season ever. Its unbelievable how much i am actually on the water, almost like Capetown :-)
In may we had eastern winds for 3 weeks in a row on the island of Fehmarn!
And lately i have been touring around, also did some very good waveriding on the island Sylt and also stopping by at all the contests.
The PKRA was really great and its so motivating to see the riders at such a high level of kiting and then to push yourself with

new motivation to do new tricks.

I am also stoked with my new cover of the latest Kitelife Mag, megalooping on my 7m Fuel :-)
You always have to ride to your limits! Hope you guys enjoy every minute on the water

    and push it hard…

Here a link to my new video from Capetown and some more pics…enjoy!

    Southafrica December 2007

Its very good to be back in Capetown finally after spending some freezing days in Hamburg/Germany.

Everybody of the top kitepros is here in Capetown again: Aaron Hadlow, Ruben Lenten, Kevin Langeree.

The conditions are windy as usual and we already had the perfect day with 3m wave and 20knots- just epic with 6,2 surfboard and 7m Fuel! Cant wait for the next session.

If there is no wind Ruben and i go to the gym to work out… we wanna look like Arnold:-)

I hope you guys have awesome christmas days and a happy new year!

    Holland, Sweden, Germany July 2007

I just spent some days in Holland in may

    and it was great!

Especially towards autumn when there are strong winds, there are some unbelievable surf spots around Amsterdam with really nice waves!

Sweden is also a very good trip every time:-)

Also i travel around in Germany a lot mainly between Sylt, Hamburg, Kiel and the island of Fehmarn.

    I just love traveling…

    Big Bay January 2007

Happy new year and all the best to everyone!

Over here its been very weird this time of the year as we hardly had any wind.

But now its starts blowing again every day. I just got in contact with this Wellness Company that does sports nutrition products.

I cant believe that i kite for 6 hours each day and dont get tired or stiff anymore the next day…feel like 18 again! And the stuff is high quality and 100% safe.

Kiting every day with strong wind and nice waves is just so much fun!

And I also got this waterproof MP3 Player and even have music with my sessions now! Great !!!

    Durban Roadtrip December 2006

Caught a flight to Durban and made a nice roadtrip almost up to Mozambique.

Then I visited a friend in Margate and had a really good time surfing and kiting in warm water with just Baggies on!

The southcoast is so beautiful and I gonna come back for sure. There will be the full roadtrip story in a german mag soon.

Now back in Capetown we went surfing every day as we didnt have wind for 4 days in a row! Unbelievable for a summer in Capetown!

As the wind came back only very light we made a downwinder and I took my surfboard strapless- its a lot of fun!

    Capetown November 2006

Back for good in the land of wind and waves!

Its already blowing a lot and some of the world top riders like Ruben Lenten, Aaron Hadlow and Kevin Langeree have already arrived so its gonna be good fun again!

I am looking forward to do lots of downwinders as this place is just perfect for it…riding waves and doing tricks for kilometers until you get tired and then hitchhike back.

This time i am planing to do a roadtrip up in Durban around the sunny Southcoast…will keep you updated on that.

    Sardinia September 2006

Made a short trip to the island of Sardinia (Italy) to work for for a fashion catalogue.

I was lucky that right after that there was a very cool kite-fun-contest very close. Sardinia is big (North->South: 400km) and a car is very recommended.

At the contest we had nice eastern winds which was last seen a month ago so i borrowed equipment from the italian slingshot importer and some other riders! Thx!

Had a really good time with the other riders on the water with music and people on the beach making noise after each trick!

At the end i was out on a 7m Fuel and the new 2007 Misfit Board which was so nice riding just in baggies and shirt!!!

    German Coasts July 2006

I am checking out different spots with my photographer friends Christian Brodack and Bob to find perfect conditions to take the ultimate kitesurf picture!

We havent been that lucky yet, but the pics are already awesome…

Check out the Gallery 06 at St Peter and Laboe and watch out for the latest issue of the

    Free Mag with an interview

and lots of pics of me!

    Jeffreys Bay February 2006

Just came back from the famous Surf Worldcup spot J-Bay up the eastcoast. Had some good surfsessions there and on the way.

I kited J-Bay aswell on a nice warmwater spot, but the swell was unfortunately not that big. Have meet all the locals on one day at that spot- were only 6 kiters. haha

Back in CT there is now huge swell predicted and the wind should be strong enough to kite the Big Wave spot Haakgat.

    Secret Spot Southafrica Dec 2005

We made a fabulous trip up

the eastcoast to my favourite secret spot.

    I enjoyed doing

    old school skate trix on

    the sandbank where its offshore.

Tried out the new bow kite Turbodiesel

    from Slingshot.

    Had a really good time

on it and tricks where way easier.

    The bar is really nice,

    functional and simple.

    Capetown Nov 2005

Back in Capetown summer is comin slowly again this year.

We enjoy flat water for some wakestyle sessions.

But everybody is amped for the swell comin this weekend to go for a long downwinder with good waves!

    At the end of october

    I am looking forward

    to be back in Southafrica.

I will enjoy some Big Wave Kiting and push my surfing skills again.

    Will keep you updated

    in my Photo Gallery aswell.

    Capetown March 2005

People say Capetown belongs to the 3 most beautiful big cities in the world besides Sydney and San Francisco.
As many times before i am amazed how diverse Capetown is and how many different activities there are during day and night time…
A few days ago we climbed Lions Head again where you get the best views. Sometimes on a fullmoon people still climb up the hard way to enjoy the view at night!
On the other hand you get invited almost every day by the wind to do long downwind sessions along the coast to follow and ride the beautiful waves.
And if there is no wind you just go surfing, wakeboarding on the cable park or collect shark teeth on the beach.
For diner there are several price crowned but affordable restaurants in town and afterwards a big choice of clubs to party all night long…

    Southafrica Januar 2005

    in diesem tollen Land.
