Lake somewhere in Africa

Last week we had amazing 30c temperatures in Capetown already…very nice for spring. So Sylvester and me decided to take a drive to this lake again and we were lucky there with the wind. And the spot was empty just for us the whole day:-)

We kited without a wetsuit for most the time which is just such a luxury as in Capetown you hardly ever have warm water in the ocean. So a wetsuit is normally a must. Check out some pics from our soul session. Life is good!!!

We recently had some good wind and waves over here in Capetown and I managed to get some new footage with my Gopro cam that I attached into the lines. Hope you guys enjoy the little clip!

Back in Capetown with new sponsor Core and Carved

I am very happy to anounce my new sponsor Core Kites and Carved Boards! Its such a great deal as I work directly now with the manufacturer himself Bernie Hiss and his team from Germany! Very stoked with my new equipment as its working really well and doesnt take much time to get used to.

This year I arrived in Capetown a bit earlier and its so goood to see my girlfriend again. Waves have been quite big and the wind is also already kicking in! This is the frist spring I have ever experiensed in Capetown and its very beautiful, so green and lots of flowers everywhere. Its still a little cooler but summer is on the way! Thanks for taking the pics babe in the cool wind.

Summer in Germany

The summer over here in Germany was super hot but started very late. Due to the heat we hardly had any wind. In my spare time while waiting for wind i was reading books from Eckhart Tolle. His new book A New Earth really is mindblowing and i highly recommend it to anyone thats interested in spirituality!

Finally now that it gets so cold, it almost feels like winter, we have some wind! …and we chased it! Last weekend we followed the wind from the island of Fehmarn on the east coast all the way to Sylt. Its such a beautiful island on Germanys westcoast and there we were lucky for two consecutive days riding two downwinders of like 12km each:-) Here are some pics from my helmet cam and some taken in Capetown. Cant wait to get some video footage on downwinders in Capetown! Soon i will be riding the waves in Africa again…cant wait Ride hard and enjoy every minute and see you on the water.

Technology in our hands

Hi everybody!  I always wonder what possibilties exist with technology today, that most people dont know about. Examples being geothermal energy, metals with memory effect or solar cells integrated in your windows at home etc.

I recently got this small waterproof HD Cam that I attach onto my board or kitelines to take amazing HD Videos and interval pictures! Imagine everybody would be working on creative ideas and technologies that would make this world better for all of us.
