Summer in Germany
Geschrieben am 31. August 2010 Keine KommentareThe summer over here in Germany started superlate but then was very hot. But with the heat we hardly had any wind. So when i had time and was waiting for wind i was reading books from Eckhart Tolle. His new book A New Earth really is mindblowing and i really recommend this to anyone thats interested in spiritual writings! Finally now that it gets so cold, it almost feels like winter, we have some wind! …and we chased it! Last weekend we followed the wind from the island of Fehmarn on the east coast all the way to Sylt. Its such a beautiful island on Germanys westcoast and there we were lucky two days in a row with two downwinders from like 12km each:-) Here are some pics from my helmet cam! Cant wait to get some video footage with it on downwinders in Capetown! Soon i will be riding the waves in Africa again…cant wait
Ride hard and enjoy every minute and see you on the water.

Technology in our hands
Geschrieben am 14. April 2010 Keine KommentareHi everybody! I always wonder what possibilties exist with technology today, that most people dont know about. Examples being geothermal energy, metals with memory effect or solar cells integrated in your windows at home etc.

I recently got this small waterproof HD Cam that I attach onto my board or kitelines to take amazing HD Videos and interval pictures! Imagine everybody would be working on creative ideas and technologies that would make this world better for all of us.
If you like to find out more check this out: www.thevenusproject.com The man behind this is 93 year old Jacque Fresco. He is a social engineer, industrial designer, futurist and author.

Wakestyle again!
Geschrieben am 11. März 2010 Keine KommentareHere in Capetown when its blown out and there are no waves i finally started to ride my Twintip again now
Its cool to do tricks again and challenge myself to do my handlepasses. In the first session we already took some video. It has been more than 6 months i have been taking a break of it, but now my knee is heeled and i am loving it to get some adrenaline pumping again in the wakestyle sessions. The tricks come back easier than i thought. Remember…its all in the mind! I will upload a trailer of my new Southafrica movie the next days! Peace and love!

Strapless Wave Pics online
Geschrieben am 5. Februar 2010 1 KommentarHi guys! Here you go with some new pics taken here in Capetown by Robyn-Lee. Just go to the Photo Gallery and scroll through them. We had lots of nice waves and good wind, i was out strapless almost all the time to make the recovery of my knee easier and not get twisted again.
Recently we had some bigger waves and we had to jump pretty high to get over them and ride out so i put my straps on sometimes. Its like another sport and so much fun to use a surfboard with the kite. Go try it out, you will have lots of fun once you get it. Enjoy every day and love life every minute!
