Megaloop on Double Page in KITEBOARDING Mag

In the last issue of the KITEBOARDING mag in Germany they published this megaloop pic of me. My friend Dzevad took it. It was on a 6m GTS on a really stormy autumn day on the island Fehmarn in North Germany. Buzzy was out with me on the water and we went crazy with megaloops on the flat water while Dzevad was shouting from the side to jump higher! As Anthony went in the water and took pics from in the water Dzevad made this pic. I kiteloop straight over Anthony and the water is only knee deep… Dont try this at home!

Amazing session in Hermanus/Southafrica

Just back in Capetown again i already had the chance to kite in Camps Bay! It is such a amazing view when you on the water looking at the beautiful mountains. The wind direction unfortunately is hardly ever right. Then a few days later we were lucky to watch some whales in the village of Hermanus. The main whale season is September but there were still some whales next to the cliffs. After that i had an amazing flat water session in the local lagoon on my 6m GTS. It was so windy and Riz and Mish took some great shots. Thx guys! What a cool little roadtrip- love life!

Impressions from cold summer in Germany

The summer in Germany was very cold and rainy this year! People were complaining a lot but the kitesurfers were happy because we had lots of wind ….I had a few strong wind sessions in the waves around the german coasts and also some megaloop sessions on flat water which was great. Watch out for the next Kiteboarding mag in Germany with a cool doublepage megaloop pic of me. I looped the kite right over another photographer that was standing in the water!

Picture in Kitelife Magazine

This picture of  me was published in the recent Kitelife Magazine in Germany. It was shot by Charlie Dailey on one of our trips to this beautiful lake in the mountains near Capetown. The water is so warm you can kite normally without  a wetsuit …just like paradise! Cant wait for November when i am back that side again.

Kiting waves in Portugal

Last week i was in Guincho near Lisbon for a photo and video shoot. It was my second time that i got booked as a photomodel and had to kite during the job! At the end i was out kiting on 3 different days! It was a fun team and windsurf legend Klaas Voget that i know from Capetown was also on the shoot. The wind unfortunately was very gusty on 2 days and we had a tough job in the atlantic with waves that were like 3m+. Here are some screenshots from one of the Gopro cams. The brandnew Core Sensor Bar really works amazing and i am very satisfied with its performance for waves and freestyle. The feeling and response it gives you is amazing. The last days back in Hamburg i couldnt believe it as i booked another job… now on the island Sylt and  i also had to kite for the fashion catalogue job we did! Law of attraction! Life is good:-)
